San Francisco
Referred to as Paris of the West in the early 1900s, San Francisco exudes a European flavor and is home to some of the country’s most recognizable landmarks. Sue Kerr’s drawings of the City by the Bay boast the cable bar with a view of Alcatraz, the Presidio with the backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge, and Chinatown, as examples. All of her drawings unveil the magical attraction of this lovely city.

Better than a text or email, a thank you note by its very nature is more heartfelt–unless you’re a kid being forced to do it.* Even then, it may be creating good habits into adulthood.
A view of San Francisco’s skyline, including the Transamerica Pyramid and the Coit tower (Artistic license in the sizing of the Coit Tower!)
*A suggestion: grandparents could gift a box of them to their grandchildren in order to insure receiving thank you notes from them. (Maybe you could include stamps with the gift.)
